e-adopt a stray
The best way to help stray dogs is to e-adopt one of them!
This means you practically undertake the support cost of a stray dog, without actually having the dog at your house. Most of the stray dogs can’t anyhow ,literally be adopted, as their condition doesn’t permit international transportation. (Not valid if you are in Greece).
By e-adopting a stray dog you will provide their daily food / water and periodically their vet costs ( twice a year).
We will make sure your e-adopted pet will receive everything you provide and make sure you will get all notification / newsletters and photos of your pet. Additionally you can cover also the cost of the neutering, so no more stray puppies will come from your adopted stray.
Just to make it clear, the Stray you will e-adopt, will keep living as a stray (we don’t have place for all these unfortunate creatures in our shelter), but will receive daily everything required to survive.
Furthermore, if you like you can e-adopt a stray dog and cover the cost for a place & food in our shelter until a real new home is found.

Our Volunteers and co-operators patrol on a daily basis this area feeding and taking care of the strays.
We are now making a “census” of the individual strays, marking the area they are living, Take a photo of each individual and give them a “name” for our purposes.
You can search the “growing” list of strays and after reading the info given for each one, you can decide which stray you need to adopt!

Aardwolf is black male beauty that lives on the street for more than a year now. He is more or less 2 years old.

Aaron is German Shepherd mixed breed that lives in a pack of 3 at Iteas street in Varymbopy. Is a male approximately 1,5 years old. He was born on the streets and spent all his life as a stray.
Achiles

Achiles is Rottweiler mixed breed that lives in a pack of 3 at Iteas street in Varymbopy. Is a male approximately 1 year old. He was abandoned and lives on the streets for some 6 months now.

Axle is a German sheperd mixed Is a male approximately 4-5 year old. Axle was abandoned on the street some 2 years ago and since then he lives on the streets.
Is a "tired" dog and would higly appreciate a home for the rest of his life.

Abby is a small mixed breed Is a female approximately 1 year old. Axle was born on the street. some 2 months ago she gave birth to 4 beautiful puppies, but only 1 is still alive and lives next to its mam!
SOS
Abel is the puppy of Abby Is probably a female approximately 2 months old. Abel is the only surviver from a birth of 4. Today (September 20th, 2014) her condition was bad.

Aussie is a mixed breed, female approximately 1,5 years old. Aussie was also abandoned some 8-9 months ago, since then she lives in a pack of 4 dogs at Platanon street in Varymbopy. She is a great dog.
